Badura-Skoda: The Last Piano Sonatas by the Great Composers

This recital was recorded live on November 16, 2008, at the First Unitarian Society in Madison, Wisconsin. The 1922 Model AA Mason and Hamlin grand piano used in the recital was donated by Frank Lloyd Wright and restored and financed by donations for the Society’s Music Fund.

This DVD contains the full recital of the last piano sonatas by the great composers: Haydn Sonata No. 52 in E flat major; Beethoven Sonata No. 32 in C minor Op 111; Frank Martin, Fantasia on Flamenco Rhythms; and Schubert Sonata No. 21 in B flat major, D 960.
