Ritual Protocol, Makoto Nakura, MarimbaKL5116Makoto Nakura is the first marimbist to win a Young Concert Artist's Award. He has made acclaimed recital debuts with the Y.C.A. series at New York's 92nd Street Y and Washington's Kennedy Center. Nakura has recorded music written especially for him by a group of young, very creative composers. He performs two compositions from the very talented Ken Puts who was awarded the Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome, only recently. Puts performs with Makoto on Ritual Protocol, the title of this CD. This CD also contains a meditative composition by the Japanese composer, Tsuneya Tanabe, Recollections Of The Inland Sea.
