Joshua Pierce, a most versatile virtuoso of the piano was born and raised in New York City. He studied at the Juilliard School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music. He has recorded a wide range of the piano repertoire which includes familiar and lesser known works of Brahms, Respighi, Tchaikovsky, Cage, Prokofiev, Gershwin, Lizst and many others. This CD contains music for piano and orchestra of repertoire by important composers that have not been represented on CD in many years.
