David Korevaar, piano, has received top prizes in the Univeristy of Maryland, Willian Kapell International Piano Competition and a special award from the Robert Casadesus Competition for his performance of French Music. He is an outstanding chamber music performer who brings intellectual strength to this recording with his very musical accompaniment to these sonatas.

"Shepherd of Israel"" is a work dedicated to the founding of the State of Israel.

Rosner: "Responses, Hosanna, and Fugue" is a work which recalls responsorial singing in the mosque, the synagogue or innumerable denominations of the churches.
